Sandblasting Sevices

Welcome to FLYcncpart's sandblasting service! Our Shenzhen team provides efficient treatments suitable for heavy-duty decontamination and pretreatment by cleaning and texturing surfaces through high-speed abrasive blasting.
Processing Overview
Description: Sandblasting uses high-pressure air to spray sand particles (such as aluminum oxide or silica sand, 0.1-2mm in diameter) onto a surface, removing rust, oil, and old coatings, and creating a rough texture (Ra 3.2-12.5μm). The process includes pre-treatment, sandblasting, and dust removal, using a pressure of 60-120 psi.

Applicable Materials: Metals (such as steel and cast iron), concrete, and plastics.

Visual Appearance: Creates a rough, matte texture, resulting in a clean, matte surface.
Advantage
  • Deep Cleaning: Effectively removes stubborn dirt and oxide layers, improving adhesion.
  • Surface Activation: Increases roughness, optimizing subsequent coating or bonding.
  • Low Cost: Fast processing, suitable for large parts or batches.
  • No Thermal Damage: Cold processing avoids material deformation.
  • Versatile: Suitable for rust removal, paint stripping, or texturing.
  • Eco-Friendly Option: Uses recyclable abrasives, reducing sand waste.

Precautions
  • Abrasive Selection: Aluminum oxide is durable, silica sand is economical; test material compatibility.
  • Pressure Adjustment: 60-120 psi to avoid over-etching soft materials.
  • Dry Dust Removal: Prevent residual particles from affecting subsequent processes.
  • Design Considerations: Avoid thin-walled parts and plan the blast path.
  • Quality Standards: Comply with SA 2.5 or ISO 8501 and inspect surface profiles.
  • Safety Measures: Wear a respirator and goggles to control sanding dust.
