Processing Overview
Description: Bead blasting is a mechanical surface treatment process that uses high-pressure air to propel fine glass beads (0.1-1mm diameter) onto the part surface, removing oxide layers, burrs, and contaminants, creating a uniform microtexture. The process includes pre-treatment (part cleaning), blasting, and post-treatment (dust removal and inspection). Pressures are typically 40-80 psi, and processing time varies depending on part size (minutes to hours).
