Processing Overview
Description: Electropolishing involves placing the part as the anode in an electrolyte (a mixture of phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid) and applying a direct current to remove trace surface metal, achieving a roughness of Ra 0.1-0.4μm. The process includes pre-cleaning, electrolysis (voltage 5-15V, 5-30 minutes), and neutralization cleaning to remove burrs and oxide layers.

Applicable Materials: Stainless steel, aluminum, copper, titanium, and their alloys.
