What
Aluminum 2017A is a high-strength, heat-treatable aluminum-copper alloy in the 2xxx series. It offers excellent machinability and good fatigue strength, making it reliable for precision-engineered components.
 
While stronger than many 6xxx alloys, its corrosion
resistance is moderate, so anodizing or protective coatings are typically recommended for long-term durability.
